NET 2003 is not supported in Vista. That doesn't necessarily mean it cannot be made to work, but it does mean that issues you run into won't be addressed through "official" channels. That said, did you install/configure IIS before installing VS .NET 2003? As 2003 has no built in web server, you're reliant on IIS
